Something is up, maybe they failed inspection? Had to go into the office today so I tried to go up and ran into this. Seems like they are re-running cabling. From the offices you can see they’ve taken some of the supercharger pedestals apart. May be a long wait…

This was from Tuesday. Getting closer but they aren’t done yet. Pedestals are back together. The workers were below on level 5. Found it odd they left this open.

I charged here yesterday evening.

I started at 50% and no preconditioning, so not great charging speed. It looked like it was still free, as newly opened sites sometimes are, but later it looked like I got billed at $0.27/kWh.

Great views with lots of things to do only an elevator ride away *during the day*. Only complaint about this charger is its location. Very much an "in town" option for folks. Given the traffic and roof top location, I wouldn't recommend detouring off 77 during a road trip when passing through Charlotte.

I wonder if they are going to add signage in the parking garage like the Annapolis, MD location has? It made it useful to find where they were in the garage:

They have a tiny sign as you enter the parking lot - indicating that the Tesla Supercharger is on the 6th floor. But I agree a few more bigger ones will be helpful!

A little off topic and poor picture (but I wasn't going to make a trip out of it).

Driving to Target today I noticed that there was 4 Electrify America chargers under construction in the BoA parking lot at 301 S King. I've never been to a EA location, and honestly don't plan on it (Tesla's coverage is pretty great - especially since I've been following since day 1). Kind of an ironic location as it's literally across the street from the Supercharger (although I imagine that happens often).

Just a random FYI in case you have a friend that doesn't have a Tesla and needs a charge.

There are now BIGGER signs there now! Yay.
