I heard construction will start in Spring. I think from here
I've not seen anything besides rumours here. No official permit or engineering document like those posted for Yamachiche, Laval, Mascouche, etc.

So grey rock is in the First Nation Reserve.?A family member with close ties to the City was told that Tesla has a construction permit for a supercharger in Edmundston, but did not give any indication as to where. I do not think the First Nation needs a construction permit from the City as it is a First Nation Reserve and technically not part of Edmundston. That would lead me to believe that the Supercharger will be outside the reserve. Thoughts?
Yes, it is part of the reserve. It is a First nation Commercial DevelopmentSo grey rock is in the First Nation Reserve.?
Sounds like there is a lot of rumours out there! And also confusion among the general public.Contacted the City, they say they’ve got nada.

But would your relative be able to pick up any important info?Sounds like there is a lot of rumours out there! And also confusion among the general public.
The city just contacted me back, and they just said there will be a Supercharger at Grey Rock Truck Stop.Contacted the City, they say they’ve got nada.
When I spoke with the City, I was told that the owner of the Sheraton was a Tesla owner, who also said the Supercharger would be at Grey Rock. I think the Sheraton would’ve installed Superchargers if they had had somewhere to put them. It's still strange, though. The co-owner of Grey Rock appears to be mistaking CHAdeMO for Superchargers (see the e-mail response above where they said Superchargers were already in service). With a settled deal in place for Superchargers, you would expect them to know the difference.
Has anyone dropped by the Grey Rock site yet to see if there's been construction activity?
How do you know that there is a member in Edmunston? Is there a map or search engine that can be used? There's a forum member who lives in Edmundston and he will probably post here soon after construction starts.
The classic Supercharge info map has the marker in the truck refueling area. Because of the pumps and the many trucks that overnight there, I doubt there is enough room to add Superchargers.
The new "Gmap" link is 200 meters or so West at the Grey Rock casino. There seems to be more room there to accomodate Superchargers.
I have an aunt that lives in Edmundston, I will show her the chargers in Aulac during holidays. I will be going to Edmundston to ski in February and sleeping overnight on my way to Ottawa for Easter. I’ll get my aunt to keep an eye out for construction but I doubt any progress until the summer. How do you know that there is a member in Edmunston? Is there a map or search engine that can be used?
You remember that well? From a desktop computer, look at the location information for the posters in this discussion.
