Supercharger - Kirkland, WA (LIVE 7 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Updates as of today, three DC cabinets are in place and concrete work is on going for the transformer and switchgear (no sign of that cabinet on site), although some of it was covered for the first time today, probably due to rain starting this evening locally.
Stalls are paved and striped with the word “compact” written on every parking space. Does this mean no Model S/X or Cybertrucks can use these stalls? I hardly consider model 3 and Y as “compact vehicles”. Maybe it’s just for the upcoming (2025?) model “2” from Mexico (JK!]
No stall end-bumpers seen on site yet either.

Unfortunately "compact" is a description of the stall and not of what people can park in them.

Yes. Either means they are narrower or shorter than standard requirements. Neither of which eliminates the ability of MS/X/CT to charge there. The S is 11” longer and 4” wider than the 3, neither of which would prevent the S from fitting. Sure it might be a bit tighter if the site is completely full, but it will be just fine.

In my experience, compact is one of two things around Seattle:
1. A description of the length. Same width as other spots.
2. A legal requirement for a certain number of spots in a lot to be for "compact cars only" but the spots are identical to all the other spots in a lot.

For point number 2, the requirement varies based on number of spots whether it is a minimum or maximum. And no clue where “compact” fits in these guidelines since it isn’t a term that is used.

@floatplane posted pictures of 3 cabinets and 11 charge posts with one just off frame so 12 has been confirmed.
More pictures. Switchgear cabinet is in place and rest of concrete work is done. All pedestals have a “Dunn Lumber” plastic bag secured over them, very amusing! Dunn Lumber is just a block away. They must have not had the normal Tesla covers available. Finally the stall furthest to the right is marked for disabled access (use last) and has a wider stall.

I just realized that except for the disabled stall (with the standard blue ADA sign), all the other posts with "Tesla charging only" sign have gone! What does that mean? Back-in bumpers instead?
@Mrbrock yet another strange site where they’ve removed the bollards… but the likelihood of this being a Magic Dock site is absurd… what are they doing I wonder.

Yes, quite odd. Maybe they are having new ones made that don’t say Tesla charging only now that all the other manufacturers are on board to use Tesla sites. But I’d think they’d just swap the metal signs, not the bollards.
Only other thing that could make sense is the bollards are being redesigned and they will install new ones at some point. But seems unlikely.

No. Not even Tesla unless the electric utility has given them an exact date that the transformer will be installed. And even then, the Tesla techs who provision and turn on the sites need to be available. Could be a couple weeks to a few months. Once it’s turned on, it will show up within hours on the Tesla App on your phone. That and here are the easiest ways to check. If it’s live, someone will post here, no need to come back and ask weekly questions if it’s turned on.

No lights on the stalls though, so not active yet. Maybe soon (1 to 2 weeks?). No spot for a meter either, maybe these days the metering is inside the switchgear cabinet.
Also no magic socks on the pedestals, not that I expected them.

If only it had "magic socks", but sadly it doesn't have magic docks for CCS charging either.

Meters need to be visible outside even if they are smart meters.
