I was able to enter the lot today. There were construction workers directing traffic and the automatically pointed me to the charging stations when they saw my Tesla. The gate was open left open and I didn't see how access was going to be given once the gate is functional. 3 more M3's showed up while I was charging. Only one car from California had less then 50% charge so I got to see it charge up to 180kW. I arrived with 54% and it only got up to 120kW. Charging was free!

A construction worker wanded and let us thru. The green gates were up. Lots of charging both fast and for lengthy stays.

24 SCs, 15 WCs. Solar powered. Power walled.

Are the 15 other L2 chargers maximum 80 amp Tesla destination chargers with the Tesla connector? And are they free?

RT
Official Tesla branded J1772's are a thing now so there is a chance they aren't normal HPWC. From the reddit thread about the Tesla J1772, they are limited to 40 amps, and do not have the daisy chain option like the standard Tesla connector HPWC.
Image from Reddit, not from the Las Vegas location. No word on what type are installed there. I'd guess normal Tesla HPWC.

/edit. Based on the video above (and I couldn't quite see all of them) the handles on the L2 chargers look to be normal HPWC Tesla connectors and not the Tesla J1772. No clue on charging speeds though.

Looks like certain levels of the Caesars players club gets free parking and free use of the L2 destination chargers. This seems like a smart move by the casino. I'll bet that other casinos will start following suit. Don't want your high rollers staying somewhere else because they are getting free juice.

If the site is full 24/7, and it very well may be, casinos and other properties will start getting a clue. Higher end restaurants with large parking lots come to mind.

Someone let us know about the L2 capabilities.
