As I believe I mentioned in an earlier post here (it was in some thread, anyway), PG&E told the contractor installing some L2s in my city last summer that they have a minimum 5-week lead time once the contractor is finished.

You have to take Hwy 120 off of I5 and then it takes less than 5 minutes to get there.

Well, you could have seen the Lathrop machine shop facility from I-5, but not the Supercharger site. You'd have to know what you are looking for to see the machine shop because it is among several other similar looking buildings and it has absolutely no markings or signage to indicate Tesla. Every time I go by I expect to see them putting up a sign on top of the existing stand that was there when it was a Mopar distribution center. Right now its just two poles standing up at the driveway.

I expect they will stucco over the exposed blocks with a color similar to the tall sign in the background.

I start my tax season whoring Jan. 30 up in Modesto. Manteca would be nice to be open like real soon so I can have plenty of charge to return home during my forays into Stanislaus County.
Still no transformer.

When this eventually opens, may I suggest a restaurant.
Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse is located just on the other side from Red Robbin.
It is relatively new. There has been some inconsistencies in service. The food has been excellent.

I live in Marin County and have been waiting to take a trip to a Murphys B&B Inn but there is no place to charge my P85 around there so I am waiting for the Manteca superchargers to be activated. It is about 60 miles or so from Manteca to Murphys so I should be able to make the round trip comfortably. So, I can hardly wait for these Superchargers to become operational.
