stop by mariposa SC today. still working on it.
I stop by El Portal chevron gas station / market too. Tesla site show finish by 3Q 2022! NO sight of anything. I ask the owner of that gas station, figure he's the only business in town. He heard nothing about a SC or new chargers.

The El Portal site is at the Yosemite View Lodge. Your 'inside source' is clueless. There is a thread for the El Portal charger and pictures of construction.

This update today from the building department. They are referring to Groveland below: "Currently, we do not have an application or permit for a charging station at the Yosemite View Lodge. The only commercial charging station that is in process is at the Buck Meadows Lodge off of Highway 120"

haha! I drove by the view lodge and saw some construction going on. Great location!!! I used to stay at the view lodge since its the closest to the entrance coming from mariposa. also the best bargain. they might raise their rates now....
yea, staying at the auto camp park. Its pretty amazing here. Their clubhouse is pretty cool! And there 3 Tesla home charger here and two level 2 charger.
I went there again today to take a closer look and noticed that they have a mixture of parking restriction signs. Every other one says Tesla Vehicle Charging Only and the alternate stalls say Tesla 60 minute General Parking. I'm guessing that will lead to lots of confusion. Already there was an ICE car parked in one stall and a pickup truck with a trailer blocking at least three stalls.

I spoke with a construction guy there about a week ago and he said that PG&E still needs to install their transformer. It'll go to the left of those three large equipment boxes. Once they start he said it takes them about 3 days of work but he had no idea when PG&E would start that work.
FYI They reinstalled the parking signs and all the straight in stalls say 60 minute general parking and all the slanted stalls nearer the front entrance all say Tesla only parking.
