I remember waiting for the Kingston, ON SC to be built... which took many months. They several more months for the electrical connection. Hopefully this process here is faster.

There are not worried about this ten-day window. They are even starting (or have recently started) at least one more site in Quebec or Eastern Ontario this year

I would guess that it's probably cheaper to build late rather than in mid summer.

+1 ! That's my bet, they waited out the peak summer construction period and had a number of superchargers available for bid by a wide range of companies, likely got a good price quote for the winners.

It may be just the way things are this year. I work in the hardware business and I can tell you my customers tell me they're still bidding on projects (commercial mostly) at this time of year which is pretty unusual as they should already have been pretty much wrapping things up since september-october. This year has been a fine year in construction which is a good sign in general for the economy. I know I can't complain...

So story short, some of these projects may not have actually waited for discount bids but actually availability from contractors.

Yeah, I remember you or someone else mentioned that app before. I'll just point out for others that it isn't the same as the supercharge.info website and there isn't a supercharge.info app for Android from what I can tell.

Went there yesterday. Was surprised to see the tent over some stalls, with a gas tank (probably propane). They might be trying hard to finish this even if snow started to fall. Good spot though, in middle of commercial center. Won't be as tempting as the one in Laval to ICE..
