Stumbled onto this location over the weekend. I assume 8 stalls.
Just off 22/322. McDonalds next door. Dollar General across the street.

Was always hoping for a location around Lewistown.
Granted a location closer would have also covered US 522 as well.

I have been dreaming of a SC between State College and Harrisburg. Especially for weekends when 150 kW SC at Union Deposit is overwhelmed with I-81 travelers. Will stop by just to check it out this weekend going to or from ice hockey vs Michigan and THON.

Mifflintown, PA

Host Type: Gas Station
Host: Sheetz
Along Primary Interstates: None
Along US Numbered Highways (<=5mi): US-22, US-322
Along Auxiliary Interstates: None

US-22

From: Monroeville, PA - 157.1 miles
To: Harrisburg, PA (v2) - 46.5 miles
Diversion: 0.6 miles
From: Pittsburgh - Park Manor Blvd, PA - 181.6 miles
To: Hamburg, PA - 95.5 miles

US-322

From: State College, PA - 46.8 miles
To: Harrisburg, PA (v2) - 46.7 miles
Diversion: 0.7 miles
From: Clearfield, PA - 83.9 miles
To: Ephrata, PA - 87.4 miles

Nicely splitting on US-322, and helping to split the US-22 gap from Monroeville, PA, although Altoona, PA isn't too terrible a diversion so US-22 is now much improved.

Well, obviously Lewistown would have been better, as that would be less of a diversion from US-522.

Agreed! Has anyone visited yet?
The trip from Harrisburg to State College is doable inmost cars but winter driving + no heat pump =decent range anxiety.
I am joining the Tesla charging network with my F150 lightning so have a slight disadvantage especially with those mountains!

I stopped by Mifflintown yesterday. No changes since my visit tothe site in early March. In fact no power line to the pole that is next to the conduit that will feed the transformer. That site is within PP&L service territory. Maybe someone has a contact within PP&L to get information on what the timeline is on getting power to the site and transformer installed.
