Personally, I love stopping at this location over anything in and around LV, those are a fire drill, this is relaxed. So I try to hit in on way in and way out. Also, while it's a bit sad looking now around here at least there's activity and don't feel too exposed in the night hours.

That place was a good stopping point in the early 2k. You can go get a cheap hotdog and stroll the mall. Take the tram over to Buffalo bill or the other one across the freeway. Sad to see it dying out.

OT but with respect to the tram: I saw a recent video about Brightline West discussing the possible ground breaking for the electric train between Vegas and Rancho Cucamonga. They said the tram would be demolished as the train will be in the I-15 median. Looking forward to this project. Driving from Vegas to LA on a Sunday morning is often a 6 hour ride.
