I have spoken to supercharging team. They are handles for handicap. When sitting in a wheelchair, it allows for a reachable handle from a seated position. You will only see them in accessible stalls. This one appears to be slated to be one, however blue paint was not yet on the ground.

Had a little adventure today! The pull through spots are 14 feet wide by 36 long. Not bad at all

Only the 7 nearest the hotel are operational, with 2D out of service. One of the two holes inside the handle has foreign matter in it. Looks like the black plastic tube from a car charging outlet.
There were two transformers installed, one large and a regular size.

Hmm. Merced County's permitting portal is still showing the building permit as only approved and not issued. Bit odd, but maybe it's just one of the ones that's not always kept quite up to date. Also, in addition to the up to 48 supercharger stalls (across 2 phases) that they already have planning approval for, Tesla has approval to add a Megapack battery system there to support the supercharger (see project ZCLR21-031). No info on when that one is expected to be built.

The adjoining, but fenced off parcel, to the north, had what looked like a new regular size transformer with bollards. My guess was a public charger, or Supercharger expansion. Older, but very vacant asphalt or chip seal.

They really have the installation nailed down perfectly!!! Bumpers offset so it hits the right rear tire perfectly, yet also allows a walking path to the perfectly placed charger without tripping.

Kudos Tesla Supercharger Team and contractors!

Compact??? Never noticed that at any previous Supercharger. I don't consider our cars compact. Perhaps they are trying to differentiate the wider CyberTruck...
