Depending on your opinion, good (or not good if you were hoping for a complete replacement of the V2's) news on Silverthorne: The city council approved plans for Tesla to develop a second station of 8 V3 stalls at the Kum and Go further down the road. They intend to keep the 12 stalls as they currently are. On the official Tesla map, the pin quotes Q4 '21 for coming online. Depending on quickly they can work with Kum and Go and the city, maybe sooner.

Construction has started.

Yes, it's open! I didn't have signal so I couldn't post while Supercharging. First to charge! I got 158 kW at about 37% SoC. Neat to see this location actually had a stall for cars towing a short trailer. @MarcoRP @Chuq

The other Silverthorne location down the road showed 5 stalls out of order and a short line. Hopefully people see the tweet and this post and know there is a v3 location close by with no waiting.

Went by at 2:00 today hoping it was open. Tesla Energy still doing final adjustments, but said power was on and I could charge at the pull-in stall. Great work to expand service in Silverthorne!
We also pulled into the pull-in stall for a quick photo op before heading out. Thanks to the sprinklers, you can also get a light car wash in that stall. Lol

We saw the Tesla Energy Model Y a couple blocks away after we finished Supercharging at 1:10. We had a pretty good idea where it was headed.:)

Stopped by today and a Kum & Go employee was asking me about the charging etc.

Then, she said:

Yea, they are also building on the lot behind (Second Pic) with the apartments. She said the residents had notices on their door about it...

Doesn't seem like it makes much sense...and she seemed like a regular employee, not someone who knew much about it so take it with a grain of salt...but maybe they already have something planned there?

Maybe the additional construction is for a 3rd party charging station?
