The conduit is being run to the transformer pad. The large spool is now mostly empty.

Today is a big day! The transformer (1,000 kVA) got installed and the fencing around the site has been removed. Next steps: install meter and test.

Half of the spots (9 out of 18) are 30 minute general parking.

My apologies for the screwy pictures. For some reason TMC has been having issues with file uploads for the past few days and I’ve had to fight with it to get pictures posted.

Thanks for the new pics. It's getting exciting! As for the 30 minute signs, I wonder who can get anything done in a big mall in 30 minutes. Seems like that will get abused unless it is monitored frequently.

The parking lot can become a zoo on the weekends and some evenings. I hope that people see the chargers and stay away from them.

This could be a pretty popular charging stop for travelers being right at the mixing bowl.

That aught to finish it up.

Big Earl, they didn’t hook up the meter? That work could have been done before the transformer was mounted. Maybe another cart in front of the horse.

I would say they would have it on line any day now. Possibly by the weekend?

No meter as of yesterday. I drove by again today and there was a guy in an unmarked white van working on something inside of the switchgear. I assume he was hooking up the wiring for the meter, but I don't know for sure. I'll head over on my way home tonight to see if there's a meter in the box.

I believe you are correct. They maybe landing the mains in the gear also.

Hopefully the lights are on tonight.
