I think with Merced open now the priority for this location has taken a bit of a back seat.

I also noticed that Madera popped up on the map as coming soon - the 99 is finally getting the love it needs.

The Merced one sucks. It's in a bad neighborhood with homeless camped at the chargers

I just saw a bunch of trailers blocking off the area where the charging stations are supposed to go (between Target and El Pollo Loco). Fingers crossed.....

Good pictures. I don't think that's for the Supercharger installation however. That's way more "stuff" than is needed for a Supercharger, and things usually aren't kept in shipping containers. I saw something upthread in the permits about an interior remodel of the adjacent Target store? It feels to me like it's more likely for that project, based on what I saw staged for the Target store nearest to me, which is also being remodeled.

Yes, this is SOP for Target interior remodel. We still have 5 or 6 at North Napa Target. Upwards of 20 during the main remodel phase.

Permits #2020-00000058 for $2.4mil and #2021-00001040 for $3.3mil have been created in the Turlock system.

Will look into the other site to see if there's anything new there.

Guessing this is dead. The original permit was 2018 for $150,000 and was canceled. Then 2020 which was for $1 and has never been issued. And the marker for Turlock was likely for the 1680 Countryside site which has been active since August 2022.
