Supercharging Every 2 Days

Is it bad to the health of the batteries that I supercharge every other day (so I avoid/skip charging every other day)?

I charge up to 80% only.
I drive right away after I charge.

Probably not. Commercial liveries charge their batteries like this constantly.

It’s definitely not the best practice. I know that on S/X eventually after a certain amount of charges the cars will start to throttle down your supercharge speeds to protect the health of the battery.

It's what I do, except not necessarily every other day, often longer. Once ever few months, you will want to bring up to 100% to let the batteries balance. For me, a trip is the reason to do it.

Many Taxi owners have Supercharged only for years that seem not to affect much.

However, then, why does Tesla throttle the Supercharger Rate after a number of Fast DC charging?

That sounds like it does affect the battery!

SC are meant for road trips. I am using them for that purpose only, eventhough I am on the free 6 months deal.

To ensure maximum driving range and battery safety, the battery charge rate is decreased when the battery is too cold, when it is nearly full or when its condition changes with usage and age. These changes in the condition of the battery may increase total Supercharger time by a few minutes over time."

My understanding of the throttling as:

1) All Fast DC chargings like CHAdeMO, CCS... and not just Superchargers.

2) It doesn't say the frequency, how often, or "in a row".. but it does say "a large number".

3) It doesn't say anything about the State of Charge from 0% to 100%.
