TACC and HW 2.5 with Red Light Recognition?

I bought my mid range Model 3 in February 2019. I did not purchase TACC/autopilot or FSD. I did purchase TACC when the price dropped back in June for $2K. A couple weeks ago I noticed that when I was driving with TACC on that it recognized a red light as the alarm went off and a red steering wheel showed up on the screen along with a red light in place of the speed limit (wasn't paying attention but was fairly far from the red light).

I could not for the life of me reproduce it until a few days ago and caught it on video. See attached video. Has anyone seen this who does not have HW 3.0 and/or FSD?? I didn't think this was a feature with HW 2.5 and standard TACC.

All Model 3's have red light warning.

Yeah, 2.5 will warn you're going through a red light, it just won't DO anything about it (besides the warning)

Is this only an American thing? I tested today with the .24 software and zero attempts on Autopilot to warn or disengage AP at three different red lights. On the plus side, I got the rust off my brake rotors.
