TACC following distance

Don’t see it either. Bought EAP last month. Just saw it was set to 2. Didn’t realize it. I usually keep at 3-4. Just switched it back with the wheel scroll. Perhaps it reset with the last software update.

There are 2 main situations with tacc and autopilot. Either I'm slower than the car in front so the setting doesn't matter. Or I'm faster and i will pass once i reach that car. The situation where I'm exactly at the same speed and that speed is my set speed is easy to fix... Drop a few mph for a few seconds, then bring speed back up. Bingo, you're now farther away.

So if I set following distance to "2" does my car stop in time if the lead car is a Tesla and "phantom brakes"?

I believe it will but you might not like the deceleration rate

I keep mine at 7 but sometimes still feels too close!

Same here. I'd put it at 9 if I could.
