Taking my LR to the drag strip

We plan on keeping our car for a long time, so it just isn't worth it to us. To each their own of course!

I’d never take my car to a drag strip but have no issue occasionally charging to 100% ;)

The first time I showed my wife what a full launch was on my performance was right after supercharging to 100%. Holly smoke, it was more than I expected.

It throttles power and therefore torque, at sufficiently high speed. Low end torque does not appear to be affected on the plots I have seen.

As an example, see the plots:

Tesla Model 3 Dyno Testing At Various SOC

I think there's also dyno testing data on a P3D+ now somewhere from the GoFundMe. But I think an instrumented road test will be more accurate than a dyno for figuring out what is happening at the low end, since it appears to be difficult to get accurate dyno data at very low RPM. One of these days I'll get the VBOX data. Have to wait for quiet streets.
