We could reach out to ask our legacy automaker counterparts but unfortunately their stealerships have not shown an interest in selling EV’s to make any effort toward setting up IRA POS rebates.

Agreed, do not opt out. I've been checking Reddit and Facebook and Twitter obsessively today to see if anyone bought a my today and can confirm if they're at POS, so far nobody knows. Even SAs don't know.

I thought TSLA was closed today. They worked till midnight last night supposedly in AZ

Late 12/31. Yes. What bothers me is the inventory prices are still lower. I'm debating whether to edit the design to see if it gives me the option to match the inventory, but would rather talk to an SA first

I got a really generous discount by choosing a demo vehicle with all bells and whistles, just a few miles on the odometer, and I can still see heavily discounted Ys in the inventory.

I ordered last night (12/31) and got a Model Y (LR) which was normally $48,990 for $44,580…that’s a $4,410 discount.

I have a few questions…

1. I also preordered the Cybertruck in 2019…so I’m trying to figure out how to get the additional $1,000 discount added. Does anyone know?

2. Also, my pickup is scheduled for 1/6…even though I ordered on 12/31/223, this will apply to 2024 Tax Credit, right?

3. Any idea how to get the $7,500 Tax Credit at point of sale so I don’t have to wait until next years tax return to claim?

same here but for some reason they're updating my order to remove discounts so I'll have to call tomorrow when they open, and stack CT

People on Reddit claiming the SAs are also saying they submitted to the IRS and are waiting on guidance

I have an order on hold, looking at 7 pax Model Y, and now they were as low as $46k. if they do POS this week, I will go through with it. Otherwise, will pick up F150 Lightning for myself, local dealers already have POS set up, and then wait longer on Model Y... or just wait for Juniper.... or heck, the Kia EV9 is a much better 7 pax. lol.

Chat worked.! All i had to do is complete my ID etc and voila earlier p/u available!

Q: Will they allow me to wait for POS be set up or push for delivery regardless??
