Tesla adding front motor to inventory RWD to make AWD?

It wouldn't be worth the effort and cost. Doing so would take thousands in parts and labor while simultaneously making a used car more expensive. It's good for Tesla to have a used car pool with a range of prices.

I don't know that anybody has attempted that. The sheer amount of surgery required for that is hard to fathom. Seems like it wouldn't be worth it.

Really! I’m sure it would be prohibitive. As Mike lists just a few of the obstacles below.

Not likely at all as that would mean replacing the battery and front suspension at a minimum, and probably the SuperBottle as well.
