Apparently there is a section of Minneapolis that they welcomed the homeless and the community agreed to avoid calling police and crime has skyrocketed robberies and assault. Trouble is the people have been brain washed into believing it is justified.........people on both sides not just the rioters but some of the victims even.Goodness gracious I can’t wait for them to get robbed and then see what they say about letting criminals have what they want.
I have no words to describe how I feel about that, at least none that won’t get me banned from here.Apparently there is a section of Minneapolis that they welcomed the homeless and the community agreed to avoid calling police and crime has skyrocketed robberies and assault. This is going to keep happening until at least November. Trump can't fix it, he is ideologically bound to make it worse.
It's always the same. Black guy gets shot or murdered by the police and the racists look for every possible reason to excuse it. There was a knife in the car, he had a prior record (no *sugar* when the whole system is racist), he was disrespectful to the cop blah blah.
This won't end until the murders stop and cops are in jail. The harder Trump tries to crack down on it the more incidents of police brutality there will be and the more protests against it.

Just stop. It's always the same. Black guy gets shot or murdered by the police and the racists look for every possible reason to excuse it. There was a knife in the car, he had a prior record (no *sugar* when the whole system is racist), he was disrespectful to the cop blah blah.

Incredible! It’s clear all of your knowledge comes from headlines and your friends. It's always the same. 99.99% of cops work hard, are honest, and do their jobs to the utmost of their abilities without prejudice or dishonor.

In that case it turns out it was his training, and he was quickly arrested and the "victim" had three times the fatal dose of fentanyl in his system and was complaining about hard to breath BEFORE police restrained him. Respiratory depression is how opioid overdose kills a person.
The autopsy results were rushed to support a narrative not explain a death, with that dose he was dying before the knee was on his neck.
Do you still believe in "hands up don't shoot" don't you?
Do you know who David Dorn or Secoriea Turner were?
You can not name legitimate example of police executing a person in the street even though that is the narrative over and over, yet we saw a straight up execution based on skin color and politics just the other night in Portland............
Since you reference a specific event, I advise you to go and look at the extended body cam footage. I'll leave that there.Excuses are why these problems don't get fixed and what leads to escalation of protests.
The right are very quick to complain about inefficiency in government, and that union power leads to poor disciplinary procedures that make it hard to remove bad workers.
The same problem exists in policing, and the police have license to use violence and kill. But the right is quick to defend the police, and excuse their abuses.
The left are quick to complain about the police, but fail to see the same underlying problems in other areas of government.
If somebody is complaining about difficulty breathing, what's your first instinct? Isn't it to help them get medical attention? If they're non-compliant, would you restrain them by putting your body on their neck?
Was this somebody who was an immediate violent threat to the public where the police were faced with a tough dilemma of protecting the problem and providing them with medical help?
As my ER nurse friend says, she has dealt with non-compliant and violent people throughout her career and hasn't killed any of them.
If you refuse to recognize the serious problem in policing, where a small percentage of police receives the majority of complaint, they won't get fixed. If they don't get fixed, they won't be trusted. If they won't be trusted, they won't be forgiven mistakes. If they won't be forgiven mistakes, there will be escalation. If there's escalation, out come the opportunists and revolutionaries.
And then it all repeats.
I believe the most important takeaways from all this is that our media is a vile beast and that your average american is far too gullible which leads to the top one: An eye for an eye leads to a blind world.@ItsNotAboutTheMoney bad cops need to be removed as individuals after due process.
There are reports that the training these officers received included instructions to kneel on someone in a manner similar to the video, though clearly there are variables like how much weight to apply and switching restraint once the person is no longer combative.
To portray someone dying of a self inflicted drug overdose as first degree murder even if the officer is judged to have used more force than necessary is just you making the excuses you are accusing me of. I am not saying the officer is all clear here, I am saying the accusations of deliberately killing Floyd are completely unfounded. Wanton murder is the excuse being used to loot, burn, rob and destroy other innocent no people's lives and property.
As long as you keep lying and claiming people are commonly executed in the street for skin color and telling rioters destroying uninvolved third parties property is warranted because of that it will continue to happen.
The rioting is based on lies, over and over we find out the initial reports of gross malfeasance by police are in no way supported by facts.
You are being manipulated.
I will ask the questions of you as well.
Do you still believe in "hands up don't shoot" ?
Do you know who David Dorn or Secoriea Turner were?
Last year reports are between 8-13 unarmed black men were killed by police and that is not to say they weren't a threat. The riots have killed 33, so would would another ideological group now be justified in staging counter riots? No, we have a right to "PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE" not to loot the liquor store and burn a city center.
Again please list the vast number of cases where once the FACTS are known police act as you claim. It is extraordinarily rare. I think we have seen police get off without punishment when there should have been some, like the Freddy Gray case. I believe he was given a "rough ride" but the police were so grossly overcharged they were let off. Intending to let someone get banged up isn't "depraved heart murder", when they accidentally die it is a criminal act but not that level.
Pretending police are evil and unjustified in arresting criminals makes the criminals feel like resisting arrest is justified creating the circumstances for people to be hurt or killed during arrest.
