Goodness gracious I can’t wait for them to get robbed and then see what they say about letting criminals have what they want.
Apparently there is a section of Minneapolis that they welcomed the homeless and the community agreed to avoid calling police and crime has skyrocketed robberies and assault. Trouble is the people have been brain washed into believing it is justified.........people on both sides not just the rioters but some of the victims even.

So thru yesterday the story from Kenosha was Blake was a witness to a domestic disturbance and police showed up and attacked him with a gun having never tased or anything.

Well now we know he was wanted for assault against the woman who called the police on him, they wrestled, they tased and he was reaching for a knife, not that the protesters or rioters will ever bother to get the facts. Would love to see a survey bet most believe "hands up don't shoot".

Question the media especially when they are claiming to have facts too quickly Evers needs to be charged with inciting a riot.

I have no words to describe how I feel about that, at least none that won’t get me banned from here.

This is going to keep happening until at least November. Trump can't fix it, he is ideologically bound to make it worse.

Try varying your information sources the ones you use are lying to you.
Politicians like Tony Evers crucifying police as racist murderers before we find out why police were called, the guy was tased and was reaching for a knife are the ones causing this. The protests and riots are almost always based on misinformation or at best half the story via video. Look at Minneapolis again, homicide suspect commits suicide on video and the looting begins.

Do you still believe "hands up don't shoot"?

The automatic presumption of guilt of police officers and the need for some to blatantly lie to inflame things is the cause for this. Police use of force incidents need to be investigated and facts need to come out before people judge the officer and protest.

It's always the same. Black guy gets shot or murdered by the police and the racists look for every possible reason to excuse it. There was a knife in the car, he had a prior record (no *sugar* when the whole system is racist), he was disrespectful to the cop blah blah.

This won't end until the murders stop and cops are in jail. The harder Trump tries to crack down on it the more incidents of police brutality there will be and the more protests against it.

99.99% of cops work hard, are honest, and do their jobs to the utmost of their abilities without prejudice or dishonor.

Now, those that do commit crimes should be prosecuted and put in prison like any other criminal, there is no excuse for those actions.

But anyone calling for abolishing or "defunding" the police just wants to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Defunding the police is not a new idea, it's almost 2 centuries old. San Francisco tried it about 170 years ago, and the result was vigilante justice and people killing each other with literally no due process.

People that call for disbanding police departments either haven't thought things through, or worse they have and prefer anarchy.

The political strategists of the DNC believe that civil unrest will oust an undesirable leader.
In general this is historically correct for most situations. This is how most dictators gained power.

The idea that our fellow Americans would encourage riots and murders to achieve political power to satisfy a foreign master is scary. What will these sociopaths in the DNC do if they are granted unlimited power but lack any core values other than greed?

If you go to American schools, you will someday learn that the POTUS doesn't control local, county, or state police. In the major cities, it's currently the national Democrat Party Officials who pulls the strings and they are paid for already, presumably by "Wall Street" but actually by a foreign communist government who spends hundreds of millions a year shaping US Policy.

Incredible! It’s clear all of your knowledge comes from headlines and your friends.
You say the whole system is racist and yet you don’t know anything about the system.

Police are entitled to the same presumption of innocence.
Time and time again we are told race was the reason someone is shot, only to later find out the rest lf the story.

The Chicago looting was precipitated by reports an unarmed 15yo was shot and killed by police......truth was a 20yo was actively shooting at police when they returned fire and wounded him. It happens just about every time that the narrative on social and main stream media are blatant lies told to manufacture tensions and gain political influence.

"Hands up don't shoot" was really the spring board for this and we found out it was a complete fabrication with zero basis in truth, yet that model keeps being recycled.

You want more black men to die at the hands of police just keep telling them that the only reason police are trying to have interaction with them is their skin color and since that is unjust they are therefore justified in being belligerent, resisting arrest and reaching for weapons.

Social media told us Blake was trying to break up a third party conflict when police turned their attention on him and shot him for trying to get in his car.....then we find out he was a convicted felon with weapons conviction and open warrant, and that the person he attacked triggering that warrant was the one that called police so they knew who he was and why they were sent, additional video also shows they trying physical restraint and taser first and that he was trying to get into the vehicle with his victim from a month before and he was reaching for a knife.

If you believe police in America are hunting people based on skin color you are grossly misinformed at best. Wait a few days and find out more facts before passing judgment on police.

Do you know who David Dorn or Secoriea Turner were?

If that was true then the ones who are murderers would be in jail, turned in by the good cops.

Instead what we see is officers with a long history of complaints against them, putting their knees on suspects necks while the other 99.99% of "good" cops watch and do nothing.

@banned-66611
In that case it turns out it was his training, and he was quickly arrested and the "victim" had three times the fatal dose of fentanyl in his system and was complaining about hard to breath BEFORE police restrained him. Respiratory depression is how opioid overdose kills a person.

The autopsy results were rushed to support a narrative not explain a death, with that dose he was dying before the knee was on his neck.

Do you still believe in "hands up don't shoot" don't you?
Do you know who David Dorn or Secoriea Turner were?

You can not name legitimate example of police executing a person in the street even though that is the narrative over and over, yet we saw a straight up execution based on skin color and politics just the other night in Portland............

Excuses are why these problems don't get fixed and what leads to escalation of protests.

The right are very quick to complain about inefficiency in government, and that union power leads to poor disciplinary procedures that make it hard to remove bad workers.
The same problem exists in policing, and the police have license to use violence and kill. But the right is quick to defend the police, and excuse their abuses.
The left are quick to complain about the police, but fail to see the same underlying problems in other areas of government.

If somebody is complaining about difficulty breathing, what's your first instinct? Isn't it to help them get medical attention? If they're non-compliant, would you restrain them by putting your body on their neck?
Was this somebody who was an immediate violent threat to the public where the police were faced with a tough dilemma of protecting the problem and providing them with medical help?

As my ER nurse friend says, she has dealt with non-compliant and violent people throughout her career and hasn't killed any of them.

If you refuse to recognize the serious problem in policing, where a small percentage of police receives the majority of complaint, they won't get fixed. If they don't get fixed, they won't be trusted. If they won't be trusted, they won't be forgiven mistakes. If they won't be forgiven mistakes, there will be escalation. If there's escalation, out come the opportunists and revolutionaries.

And then it all repeats.

@ItsNotAboutTheMoney bad cops need to be removed as individuals after due process.
There are reports that the training these officers received included instructions to kneel on someone in a manner similar to the video, though clearly there are variables like how much weight to apply and switching restraint once the person is no longer combative.
To portray someone dying of a self inflicted drug overdose as first degree murder even if the officer is judged to have used more force than necessary is just you making the excuses you are accusing me of. I am not saying the officer is all clear here, I am saying the accusations of deliberately killing Floyd are completely unfounded. Wanton murder is the excuse being used to loot, burn, rob and destroy other innocent no people's lives and property.

As long as you keep lying and claiming people are commonly executed in the street for skin color and telling rioters destroying uninvolved third parties property is warranted because of that it will continue to happen.

The rioting is based on lies, over and over we find out the initial reports of gross malfeasance by police are in no way supported by facts.

You are being manipulated.

I will ask the questions of you as well.

Last year reports are between 8-13 unarmed black men were killed by police and that is not to say they weren't a threat. The riots have killed 33, so would would another ideological group now be justified in staging counter riots? No, we have a right to "PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE" not to loot the liquor store and burn a city center.

Again please list the vast number of cases where once the FACTS are known police act as you claim. It is extraordinarily rare. I think we have seen police get off without punishment when there should have been some, like the Freddy Gray case. I believe he was given a "rough ride" but the police were so grossly overcharged they were let off. Intending to let someone get banged up isn't "depraved heart murder", when they accidentally die it is a criminal act but not that level.
Pretending police are evil and unjustified in arresting criminals makes the criminals feel like resisting arrest is justified creating the circumstances for people to be hurt or killed during arrest.

Since you reference a specific event, I advise you to go and look at the extended body cam footage. I'll leave that there.

I believe the most important takeaways from all this is that our media is a vile beast and that your average american is far too gullible which leads to the top one: An eye for an eye leads to a blind world.
