I heard in some cases you can continence them to ship the car to you so you can pay taxes in your local state. Do they not do that any more?

What California is doing with the sales tax for out of state cars is really dumb. They should see what Germany does with the European Delivery Program where tens of thousands of people travel to Germany to take delivery of their US spec cars and tour Germany spending money in their new car.

Imagine a California Delivery Program where people from all across the US fly to California for tourism and pick up their car...

the cpo specialist i have been in touch with said there is no way around the CA tax situation. they dont deliver the cars anymore.

Very true. A state rep introduced a law to not charge sales tax a year ago but it got shot down.
