Tesla engineers crapped the bed on the Gen 3 Wall Connector

You make no sense whatsoever bro. The manual says to install 6 gauge for maximum output. What if we dont need maximum output or worse, out electrical service cannot support maximum output? Ontario code doesnt require a minimum 8 gauge and I have no clue where you found that info. Level 2 EV charging can be as low as 240v 15 amps.
Gen 2 wall connector could be wired with 15 gauge through to 3 gauge and it was perfectly fine that way. Tesla designed the Gen 3 charger to be installed in the same fashion but it fails inspection because of the way the current can be adjusted over wifi.
