What happens if you cover the camera?
Also, just out of curiosity, is there already someone who found a workaround so the car doesn't nag so much when driving without hands on steering with the onboard camera on?
I'm not planning on sleeping or going to back seat, I just want to drive looking at the road but want the car not to nag me to have hands on steering all the time.

It's been shown that if you block the camera, the nags will still be there. With the camera, the nags are supposed to be less. With Vision still being developed, I am sure that they are erroring on the side of caution and keeping nags ups until confidence is higher. You, the driver, is the weakest link of the entire program, and the only thing they can't code.
