- Feels like its harder to cool the car or maybe the temperature sensor is calibrated wrong, at 21C on Auto it was toasty and had to go 18C. Definitely felt heat radiating on my head, but can live with it.
It depends on which version of AC you have the earlier versions used AC for cooling and resistors for heating, the problem with this version is that if you set the temperature a particular value say 22 C the air is delivered at that temperature, with resistive heating being used to raise the temperature of the output from the AC if it is less than that temperature, then setting the temperature to say 24 C to save energy means you use more energy
The way to get around that is to set the Temperature to LO, which means you don't use resistive heating and use fan speed to maintain the cabin at a comfortable temperature
Later versions (Octavalve) use a heat pump for cooling and heating, so it is not a problem
