Good to know that even in this weather, issue resolves itself . Did you do long drives in these 861 kms. or short ones? The longest I have driven is around 90 kms at a time, so that might also be an issue.Same issue, at certain speeds the first 200km I was actually bouncing left to right, lol.
Now at 861km it’s almost completely gone.
My model 3 has never seen an automated car wash. Glass coating, and after that, once a month a special “low water” rinse, half a bucket and a half a bucket clean water to clean the sponge. Then dry with special cloth, takes me 10 minutes to do the whole car. With this weather and salt on the road, my white MY is getting dirty. I read elsewhere that the Tesla’s in general are more prone to paint damage in an automated car wash. Is that the general opinion of the members in this forum? Also what kind of wash is recommended in general? Washbox/Drive through/Hand wash. Thanks!
White M3LR here. Went every week for one year to an automated car was. Still looks brand new. With this weather and salt on the road, my white MY is getting dirty. Als het niet vriest dan…With this weather and salt on the road, my white MY is getting dirty. I read elsewhere that the Tesla’s in general are more prone to paint damage in an automated car wash. Where did you do the glass coating from and any indications of costs involved? Thanks! My model 3 has never seen an automated car wash. My commute is 52km single. I did a single journey of 110km one way.Good to know that even in this weather, issue resolves itself . Did you do long drives in these 861 kms. or short ones? The longest I have driven is around 90 kms at a time, so that might also be an issue.
Ben benieuwd, heb volgende week vrijdag winterbanden wissel gepland staan.
Kort samengevat: erg tevreden. Super nice! I see that you have also attached the mud flaps for front wheels. Did you do it on your own and if so how easy/difficult it was? Also planning to buy the original ones from tesla to avoid stone chips and car getting dirty. Thanks!Zo, hij is ff af. Velgjes zitten eronder.

Yes, original ones, SUPER easy. Pop two clips open with a small flat screw driver, pop the mud flaps on with two new (slightly longer) clips.Super nice! Mooi!
