No one elected TD and nor does this matters, just bureaucrats!
Any idea how long it took from v6 -> v7 ? Was it weeks or months until TD approved the software upgrade ?
Although I can understand the reasoning behind it it does indeed seem a bit outdated behaviour.
With the safety improvements in 8.0, especially with autopilot, you think the TD would be keen to approve it. But I guess their role is to follow the laws and regulations!
