Just saw the $75 daily upgrade fee for a model s. I didn’t see all the other details, but curious to see if they are 75 or 100d. Supercharging included? Just wondering how it works
National what? National car rental? (Could be National airport (which is now Reagan (National) at DC). I’d be shocked a car rental agency would trust people to know how to treat/run a Tesla. But loving it if I could get one when away from home!
I couldn't find a Tesla rental at DEN from National, but maybe it was listed under vehicle categories that are not obvious. For example, their example of a Premium vehicle is Nissan Maxima.
It shows the Model S as a "Luxury Elite Electric Car". They always show the Maxima for a Premium Vehicle and I get that BUT what really bothers me is the fact that they have an Infiniti Q60 as an "Exotic Sports Car" and a Chrysler 300 as a "Premium Special Car" and neither one of those cars live up to either one of those titles...Whats Premium and Special about a Chrysler 300? Is my question.
Looked into Turo and decided against that option. Most people's auto policy will not cover Turo rentals, same with credit card coverage of rental vehicles. They do not consider Turo as a car rental business. If you purchase the insurance from Turo, it costs almost as much as renting the car.
