1) I thought Elon did quite well. Opening monologue, Mars scene, and Wild West scene were the best.
2) I was reminded why the last SNL I watched was 20 years ago. It’s super boring with way too many commercials! I won’t be back, even if Musk hosts again.

Watching on VPN we missed all the excitement of the commercial, I guess that’s a good thing. Elon was definitely the bright spot on the show, time to go back to skipping decades worth of episodes.
I hope Karen got a chuckle if she tuned in to catch Elon.
SNL is painfully unfunny but the Elon bits were good. His opening monologue, the SpaceX/The Martian skit, and the closing Wild West skit were good.
The other 85 minutes was awful, including the commercials.
This must be why no one watches network TV anymore. I haven't had cable TV for well over a decade now and that's enough network TV for a lifetime in just 90 minutes. Oh well. Time to not watch SNL again for another 20 years.
I felt great watching SNL tonight, because Elon was clearly having a lot of fun, and there’s been so much stress and BS he’s had to endure to get to this point where he can laugh at it.
