Lead regular Model 3 and Tesla Energy cell quality operations at Gigafactory 1,

So where's the news here? This role could relate to checking the quality of incoming Panasonic cells at GF1:

The group supports development of new mass production cell candidates by guiding design decisions, contributing to cell supplier specification requirements, and collaborating on cell material and process development projects. Cell Quality leads mass production cell projects that impact incoming cell quality, Tesla manufacturability, and field reliability.

I don't think it necessarily implies Maxcells.

A nail took out one of the Model S’s tires this week. I was at discount tire picking up the replacement in the Model 3 when I happened to see a black P3D leaving one of the bays. As I was watching the 3 drive away I hear one of the workers one the phone saying “a Tesla? Yes we stock tires for your car” Teslas are taking over Phoenix. Bullish AF.

Wow, then the Audi e-tron must be the real deal because the tire sizes used on that EV are in stock at my local America’s Tire before the car is even sold! Tire shops are already preparing in advance! Double bullish!!

/s

*It is true though about the sizing, I just checked. The sizes that will be used are available locally.

I suppose @Silent Ludicrosy's main point was that the customer only mentioned "Tesla" on the phone (without exact tire size), and the response was:
  • "A Tesla? We stock all tire sizes for all models, just come in!"
The answer wasn't:
  • "You drive an étron? Sir, my French isn't particularly strong, but I don't think that's a nice thing to say about a car. Could you please tell me your car's tire size: width, height and diameter?"

Unfortunately due to their past actions I find it hard to trust Tesla security’s credibility. In Sparks NV didn’t they falsely claim that the battery “whistle blower” had threatened work place violence?

No. Several people posted here that that guy (Martin Tripp) was deleting incriminating evidence of his online presence left and right, including evidence that suggested he is a gun nut. Tesla claimed they got an unsolicited phone call from a friend of Tripp that claimed that he threatened (witnessed by the phone caller) that he'd shoot the place up.

Assuming that this is true (I don't know whether it is), even if the phonecall was anonymous, wouldn't you too (have to) take the alleged threat dead seriously, even if after the fact the guy turns out to be an online loud mouth that appears harmless in person?

You can't polish an étron but you can roll it in glitter

The issue is that the footage will reveal exactly how doctored the promotional material for the autonomy day was.

What are you talking about: there was no "promotional material" for Autonomy Day to "doctor":
  • Big investors were driven in HW3 cars in person, in full FSD mode, in the Palo Alto area, with traffic light recognition, left and right turns, etc.
  • One of the investors was driven to the airport, so it wasn't a fixed route.
  • There were several reports of flawless trips and one report with a single disengagement by the safety driver.
  • The following equity financing round was well subscribed.
Furthermore, since Hothi/skabooshka filmed the Tesla car, if there was any "doctored" material he'd already have released the video evidence, right?

My guess is Tesla dropped the request because they didn't have good or unambiguous enough footage of Hothi (allegedly) hitting the security guard - and the injuries of the security guard are a single witness, versus Hothi's claims - not enough evidence to grant a temporary restraining order given the judge's discovery order. So they dropped it instead of waiting for the judge to deny the request. I suppose the rest of the suit is still continuing.

Sorry, but I think you are spending way too much time reading TSLAQ nonsense. ;)

What is fascinating about Tesla’s long term future is that all paths may naturally lead to it creating a market leading OS-ecosystem.

The vehicles, the solar + battery home, business, utility system... all will lead to Tesla gaining consumer familiarity and loyalty with its branded software applications all centered around energy production and consumption costs and value adds which are essential to saving money and utilizing products most efficiently.

While at the same time, Tesla offers internet services, predictive maintenance (and product suggestions) of all items that consume energy in the home, business, or industrial environment, highly accurate weather and traffic forecasting due to real time fleet data collection, energy sales management for buying and selling energy on at the distribution level for home and business owners, etc...

The sky’s the limit as Tesla could leap frog Apple, Google, Microsoft, and the rest for the next holy grail of the connected home and internet of things.

Though the path may not be clear to some, it is becoming increasingly more visible as many “synergistic” areas (including boring, neuralink, spacex tech advancements) are gaining momentum with Tesla steaming ahead toward 1 million vehicle owners and 1 million solar (and battery) customers within the 12-24 months...

China may be entering recession. CEO of Stora Enso (We are the renewable materials company! )said, that China has cut buying pulp 7% this year and at the same time cut buying recycle paper. Traditionally china's pulp usage has very closely followed its GDP growth. There has been suspicion, that China is manipulating its GDP figures and this is another indicator of it.

Yep. Shooting illustrated .. Is that like Sports illustrated without the swimsuit models? :p

Bloomberg also claimed that he panicked when this news came out and ran from his home to.. wait for it.. Nugget casino Resort in Reno . Don't know about you, but if I am panicked and wanted to hide, I would probably go to a nondescript motel out of town and not to a falcking swish casino resort in the middle of the town.

My point has nothing to do with tire sizes. Just that they were dealing with three Tesla customers in a row. There was one BMW and no Audis at the store. People in the waiting area noticed. You don’t have to use the spike in my “Tesla sightings in the wild” index as an advice, but it’s bullish AF.

I can think of two reasons why Tesla wouldn’t want to release the video:

1 Perhaps they don’t want to draw negative headlines during a time when things are going well.

2 Putting videos of this manner to the public may encourage more copycats. This has been a focal point of why the media has been criticized for over exposing the face of killers who participate in “public mass shootings”, which has in effect planted ideas in the head of copycats and allow them to research their next target.
3. The video didn't help Tesla's case.

Let's begin with the 1st GF1 job from July 12

I love how literally everything on his account pertains in some way or another to his actions. ;) At the time I would have said "everything but one thing", but then he fled to Hungary.... ;)

Is Martin Tripp eligible for re-hire?

I'm wondering whether he'd accept this free CV I've written:
  • Experienced software developer with a love for guns, hacking and TSLAQ.
  • Makes occasional threats of mass violence, but has more bark than bite, most of the time.
  • Loves traveling to non-extradition countries, hates being skipped over for promotion. Allegedly.
  • Willing to exfiltrate confidential corporate data for a fair payment, absolute discretion guaranteed.
;)
