He had no idea that it was such a big deal. He doesn't normally cover Tesla. He no doubt didn't think anything of it. He wasn't trying to make news on that.

I didn't sell (was considering it though), but I think there's going to be a big wake-up call when the earnings come out, and sizable correction tomorrow.. regardless of what the earnings say.

Tesla shares are trading higher in anticipation of the company's Q4 earnings scheduled for after the close today. The current Q4 EPS estimate is $1.72 and the sales estimate is $7.02 billion.

I decided to sell half of my TSLA if the stock drops below 525 or goes over 725. As it is my portfolio is way too heavy TSLA after the recent run-up so this might just be the time I should have acted anyway. I've had to remind myself that I am long TSLA to support the vision and to have a comfortable retirement, not to gamble to see just how much I can accumulate (or lose.)
