The need for security is obvious. Obama and Hillary advocated for a wall within the last decade or so, but the Dems seem to have forgotten that
What is obvious is the idea of a wall is monumentally stupid, (pun intended). For far less money you could have enhanced border surveillance and more patrols which would be far more effective. An unmanned wall is easily defeated by a ladder or tunnel.

David Booth, automotive journalist, is coming around not specifically to EVs, but to Tesla. He recognizes four innovations that set Tesla apart from all other auto manufacturers: Battery Technology, Supercharger Network, OTA Updates, and Teslas can see motorcycles.

If this die-hard "motor-mouth" ICE supporter can see Tesla for its innovation, proof the tide is changing.

PS. First sentence "the year" should be changed with "all the years", somebody picked it up on this in comments section.

I certainly won't trust Musk on timelines. He has long history of missed deadlines. Claiming that THIS time it will be totally different is pretty unconvincing.

M3 timeline got beat. I’ve no idea if G3 timeline will get beat or not, but they’ve already accelerated the timeline just as they did for the 3 so really anytime this year is a beaten timeline.

Epoch Auto, claims to be Canada's Leading Chinese Auto Magazine, in 2017 Toronto Fall Edition had a write up on the Most Anticipated Electric Cars of 2018.
(Let's see how their picks did for 2018 using US auto sales statistics from InsideEVs.)

1) Tesla Model 3 (139,782)
2) Nissan Leaf (14,715)
3) Audi (A3 Sportback) e-tron (2,597)
4) Porsche Panamera 4-E-hybrid (2,036)
5) Jaguar i-Pace (393)
6) Hyundai Ioniq (345)
7) Mitsubishi i-MiEV (0) Discontinued in North America
8) Faraday Future FF91 (0) bankruptcy?

Let's check back with Epoch next year to see how well they've done.

Not necessary. I thought each camera has two images, one a bit later than the other. Source: teardown by the guy who knows, not Munro.
I think the wide angle has too much distortion compression on the edges. Better to sew two images more like a pan to estimate distances. The chicken head thing has too much latency.
