Larry Page stepping down as CEO of Alphabet (google parent company).

Would be nice if Elon could get his OTHER good billionaire friend named Larry to join the Tesla board (and as an investor) now that he is no longer CEO of a perceived competitor (Alphabet owns Waymo).
Well, Elon being Elon, he must be accustomed to meeting with clones, but for us shall we say "normal" people it might get tricky to sit at a meeting with a multiple of "billionaire Larries"? No doubt they would all contribute good though. OK, bring them on! (Anyone has a reliable count?)

What’s scary here is that Tesla has less than 200 million shares outstanding, while amazon has 490 million shares outstanding. By this metric, Tesla should be double the price of amazon base on eps.

What’s crazier is that amazon’s margins is a thin 4-5%, while Tesla’s margins are 20%.

What’s craziest, is that we’re still sitting on $336 per share.

Hmm? Earnings per share already accounts for the difference in the number of shares.

Elon is a national treasure, the military should provide him his own brigade as personal body guards and assign him a special rank: General Elon, US Technology Prodigy.

Musk will probably become knighted by the Queen sometime in the next decade.

I mean, anyone who can land a rocket on a robotic ship and send it back into space should certainly be knighted!

Interesting watching the 5 minute clip from CNBC "halftime report" discussing Tesla. Right off the bat they say that no one on the panel owns TSLA (so its clear upfront they are some level of idiot). BUT...it is revealing hearing the reasons they have for not owning Tesla.

The big takeaway that I think is important is that they all discuss Tesla as being overvalued on an earnings multiple - and there is now ZERO belief amongst the Wall Street TV talking heads crowd that the company is heading for bankruptcy (they even wonder how many shorts are going to get out of the stock now that it is clear "it isn't Enron").

The clear upside here is that if these people are talking about TSLA from an earnings/growth multiple valuation perspective - then it is VERY easy for them to become TSLA bulls/owners when earnings explode higher over the coming quarters.

The hard part is done (killing the popular short narrative that Tesla is heading for bankruptcy) - the easy part is now underway, where Tesla growth & EPS speaks for itself.

Anyone have an account with the Telegraph to see past their paywall?

Elon Musk reported British cave rescuer's lawyer to UK police claiming fraud

That's a really explosive charge:

"Mr Musk claimed the lawyer had conspired to set up the Tesla chief
executive into believing that Vernon Unsworth, a British caver who helped rescue a Thai football team from a cave system last summer, was a paedophile, documents filed by Mr Unsworth’s
legal team say."

Need to find it in the courtlistener docs too...
