The demise of the OEMs

Haha, they may need to have an offer on top of the offer...

Polestar had a similar-ish offer that expired in July.

Lucid is in the luxury EV car segment in terms of being unobtainable for the majority of consumers. $750 a month for 36 months? (I didn’t check the initial funds due at signing.) Heck, that’s the average lease payment that members are trying to dump their M3’s on this very website, because ‘They’re moving….’ excuses.

On a side-note, the current problem with leasing, is the APR rates have distended to the point where it’s just not desirable, amongst inflated APR on mortgages, homeowners insurance rising, auto insurance rising, etc.

Gotta Love It

UAW will not exist if GM and Ford fail to the Chinese in the USA
UAW, Ford and GM most work together to ensure USA owned and operated auto manufacturing is to survive

Remember the name UAW “of America”

Yes, Tesla is USA and will continue to lead and be the tech advantage, generations ahead with automation and robotics

But we don’t want the future F150 Lightening being sold back to us by rhe new Chinese owners
Like the Chinese MG is being sold back to the Europeans
So sad

Don’t let this happen to USA

If they implode due to their own poor decisions from UAW and OEM mgmt, so be it.

Let the Teslas, Rivians of the US take their place.

Prelim announcements BMW now sufficiently bribed by UK Conservatives taxpayer ahead of impending elections to build at least some electric BMW Mini in Oxford.

From subsidy levels it seems this does not include cell or pack manufacture ..... and those may well be CATL's EU sourced (imho). £600m from BMW, £75m from taxpayer, 4,000 jobs.
