30k miles in one year... Buy it if you want. I'm not.
30k miles in one year is normal for me. We don't all live in urban areas with < 5 mile commute. Now, if I'm buying the car from someone who lives in one of those areas and it has 30k miles on it, I'm going to be wary. But if it's from someone living in my area? Not a big deal at all.

The gotcha is, of course, that you can't know that history a lot of times these days. So if I'm looking online I'm not going to go for the 30k car first most likely. But it may be a perfectly fine car. Conversely I run the risk of getting a car with 10k miles from a city driver who charged it 100% using DC fast charging every day and has wrecked the battery. I can't really know. Just that I gotta pick something to help decide and lower mileage is what I've picked. At least initially.
