Can Tesla change the UI so 
does not skip the song. You can easily skip anyway.

, car hits a bump, by mistake....song is skipped and gone forever!
IF it didn't immediately skip the song, you could change your vote while it is playing.
Audio command would be better but doesn't seem to work.
This also solves the dilemma of your passenger voting for you.
