New model y owner here, less than 2 weeks. I noticed when I open the driver side window, there’s a thump noise when it gets almost to the bottom. Is this normal? I recently had my windows tinted. Can it be due to that?

I don't see how tinting would have caused this issue either. But I've seen some shop open up the inside door cover to do the tinting (Don't ask I don't know why but some do) some shop don't need to open that cover and can still do the tinting just fine.

This is not normal. TSC had the nerve to say it's normal. I had the regulator replaced and still does it. The car seems to respond different ways in different temps. Then I had the regulator adjusted in the 80s and the sound was gone...up/down no thump anytime. Then the temps got over 100 F and it came back. It was adjusted and now only makes the THUMP when it reaches the fully closed position, the glass now positioned where 1/4 inch is visible. So done with this....
