Interesting ...one question though...if something goes wrong ... Will TESLA say that somebody used unauthorized Clipper Creek instead of HPWC so will not cover battery warranty?

If that was the case, then you would be unable to charge at any public charger. You can think of the ESVE is just a fixed extension cord with some electronics to keep you from electrocuting yourself. It doesn't change the electricity from the panel in any way.
