Anyone else see these in the NavUI?
No, they are not selectable or on the map itself.
Yes, they remain in the same place during driving.

Did your interior get really hot recently?
The original touch screens had a clear adhesive that can slowly flow when 100 degrees or so for an extended time. New design fixed it. Retrofit available (for a cost).

Do you have overheat protection on? Besides the human/etc. element, it’s good to not roast the electronics, as you note!

If you have the option (I think all models have it now, for sure) be good to ensure it’s on if you get it replaced, at least.

Same issue here. 2014 S85 CPO. Overeheating protection on for most of the summer...plus windshield cover....bubbles center top of the nav screen.

Warranty’d cover it, I would think. Mine is out of the original warranty and I didn’t opt for the Extended Plan. The SC gave me a quote broken down in part #, part cost and labor cost because they know I like to DIY. I am leaning toward replacing the touch screen myself! Software reflashing is not a need if you replace just the touch screen (and not the whole MCU).

I may wait it out and see if ultimately there’s a Bulletin or Recall on it. It doesn’t affect the operation at all. If it doesn’t advance past the top edge it’ll be cosmetic, just a bit of character to the old girl...
