On the large display, the highlight of the current route does not change over the trip duration, it's kinda of annoying. Most GPS would highlight from your current location to your destination and update the map in realtime.

The highlighted route on the instrument cluster (small display) does do highlight from current position to destination/next turn; However, it updates every few seconds, not continuously update as it should; it shows a pig tail behind the car symbol before the map get updated.

Not polished software or a bugs?

It should and does--be sure that your touchscreen nav display is on the proper setting. In the upper right is an icon that you tap to change from the whole route overview (sounds like this is what you see) to a North up display and then a heading up display. The latter 2 will follow your route. Note that if you tap and drag your nav screen then you will need to recenter by using the icon in the upper right as before.

Thanks JPP... that's not it. heading up or north up display does not change things, on the big display. I mostly use the heading up display, btw. The route always highlighted all the way from the origin. Not a big deal, on the large display, though.

For the small display, the pigtail is just annoying.

Maybe these are just the imperfections...

Yeah, you need to click on that button again, and it'll zoom in on the large screen. You can toggle between Nav North, Nav direction of travel, Nav total route (what you're seeing) and Nav from your point to the next stop (i.e. on a multi-supercharger route).

If you're in the first two settings, you could zoom in and it should remember your preference for the future and update as you're moving.

It took me a while to figure out what you're complaining about, yes that little bit of blue behind the car is non-refined, and happens pretty often.

They should fix it to give it a more refined look, but really, they have much more important things to fix first than this superficial bug.
