I looked at this one:
Quite dirty inside the car (cat hair? something spilled on the driver seat).
The CF hard-top roof is damaged and peeling.
Very minor paint damage (fixed) to the rear bumper (must have slightly backed into something sharp and it was painted over).
I don't believe the brakes work - see my post here: Braking issues ...
Battery showed about 50% left with 60 miles of range (standard).
Only comes with the standard yellow charging cable.

Forgot to bring a USB key to download logs, planning to do so next weekend.

I went and looked at 1250 on 25 January at a used dealership in Scottsdale,AZ. They had just bought it at an auction a week prior. The car had the CF top on it and they had the soft top as well as a bag full of charging adaptors. The paint looked like it needed some love. Maybe it's because it's black, but the swirls were visible from 30 feet away. It wasn't very pretty.
More notable is the 20k+ jump in price. Seeing this makes me wish I had pulled the trigger. Looks like this guy is just trying to make money on the car.

Yep - @Dudeapa is correct. This car was just for sale for $62,990 a week ago if I recall correctly.

What bothers me the most, is this guy’s heartfelt and rather descriptive “story” on the Craigslist ad. Anyone with a Carfax check will be able to tell he didn’t purchase it three years ago like he’s claiming.

Solid flip.

To be fair, he didn’t say he bought it three years ago; just that he fell in love with a black Roadster three years ago and really wanted one since then. He goes on to say that he realized he couldn’t afford it when he had to make his first payment. He’s being honest, but it does seem a bit misleading.

@samcarney posted a photo of the factory 2.0 CF diffuser here (and pasted below for posterity's sake). Are there truly no photos of the factory 2.5 prototype in the Encyclopedia TEGtannica?

I don't think his was a factory CF part. In that post Sam wrote:
"All of the exterior exposed carbon fiber pieces were reproduced by CarbonOne Ind. The weave matches the OEM Tesla parts exactly. The entire hood is exposed carbon fiber, not just the top 3 louvers Ala OEM. The CF Tail light bezels are TMK the only ones in existence. The interior CF pieces are Tesla OEM except for the door sills and door handles which are from CarbonOne and everything matches."

Note, CarboneOne was a (I think it is safe to say) "fly by night" sort of operation that made a small number of nice parts, then sort of collapsed and ended with a sad story of unhappy failed orders.

We also have to be careful because some people wrapped their diffuser (and/or rear spoiler) in an adhesive print film that looks like CF.

Here is a picture of the prototype 2.5 CF rear diffuser:

I kind of doubt that #1250 has one of those, but I suppose it is possible.
( To me the #1250 photos look like just a stock plastic type unit. )
