Finally after a 2 1/2 month wait, we finally took delivery of our MY SR built at Giga Berlin.
Thanks to the many helpful checklists posted here, I am pleased to say that I could not find a single build-quality issue. On the contrary, I find the build-quality to be very robust and solid. I had more issues on my old Lexus and Mercedes at the time of delivery than the MY.
Being our first EV, we have a somewhat steep learning curve - the driving dynamics are quite unique.
My biggest concern is how Tesla will handle the extreme heat here in Dubai and what will the long-term effects of it on the battery. I will monitor that closely.
If anyone has experience of driving a Tesla in Dubai, would be great to know!
