Of a Model 3 AWD. Went with a detailed checklist and reviewed everything on it. More importantly, I took my amazing bride who is fantastic at everything, but particularly at inspecting things. Everything we found was corrected while we were there. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Orientation was great too. All in all, a smooth delivery, despite the concerns after reading the horror stories.

Glad to finally officially be part of the family.

Good to hear and welcome to the family. How busy was it where you had your delivery? What config did you go with?

Thanks! Quite busy. We were the third car in the delivery room as we started. After those two left another delivery happened at the same time. I actually asked the delivery specialist at the location how busy he had been. He said they slowed in January, but once the price dropped happened, they've been hopping.

AWD, Blue w/ 18" wheels. I anticipate that I will remove the Aeros and wanted the flexibility (and am tired of cleaning brake dust on my wife's car, so chrome...naw). Black interior.

Congratulations! Hopefully I'll be following suit soon... if I can get the price I want to sell my leased car early, I think I'm ready to join you. Would be a very similar vehicle - AWD, aero wheels, but in white. Did you get AP and/or FSD?

Sounds like a familiar car. Get the aero hubcaps for $50 and replace the aero covers with them, but put the aero covers back on for road trips.
Time for a road trip today.

Quick question about that -- with the hubcaps and lug covers on, do they need to be removed to reinstall the aero covers? Either way - I think the 18's are where I want to be. I'm not driving for performance; it's just a family car. Don't love the look of the Aero covers but if it buys me 10% range, I can live with it. :)

Thank you! I did not get AP or FSD. My daily commute is less than 15 minutes so I didn’t think I would get my value out of it and I felt a bit weird about financing software. Perhaps if so get the 60 day trial and really like it, I will change my mind. But right now I just really enjoy driving it myself.

I can also answer your other question. You can leave the lugnut covers on, but you do need to remove the center pieces in order to put the Aeros back on.

I understand your thought process, and have the same thoughts as I debate FSD or no FSD... that said, I don't have a "daily" commute. I'm in sales, so work from my home office - except when I'm driving to the airport or a customer site. I'd say the drive to the airport is the closest thing to a commute, and it's about 40 minutes in pockets of stop-n-go traffic. Autopilot sounds like a dream come true.

As for the Aeros - that's perfect. Popping the center piece is quick; having to pull each of the lug covers is what I wanted to avoid. 4 hubcaps - no problem! Thank you!

Best of luck with the new vehicle... I'm not far behind. Just a question of how long I can hold out for Model 3 leasing to arrive .....

I quite literally just got a 60 day autopilot trial. So I’ll try it out for sure!
