Took Delivery Yesterday - and need (SWPA) inspection within 10 days???

I took delivery on my Model Y yesterday. Overall went *very* well and was pretty pleased with the condition of the car. The only major thing (condensation inside the rear taillight) had already been flagged by the dealer and they committed to coming out to my house with a mobile service appointment to address. Panel gaps looked pretty good. Alignment looked good. One or two minor paint issues on the hood that the on-site paint specialist agreed with and said they would take care of via a bodyshop visit.

But I was surprised to learn (within 20 seconds of accepting delivery) that the car would need to get a State inspection (in Pennsylvania) within the first 10 days... which brings me to all kinds of questions about how my local (ICE) dealerships and mechanics are going to feel about doing an inspection on this car.

My first question is - do I need to buy special "lifting equipment" (those 'pucks' I've heard of and briefly seen on Youtube videos) to take with me to such an appointment?

My second question/input solicitation is if anybody in Southwestern PA has any tips on *where* to take your Tesla for inspection, I sure would appreciate that as well...

Not a HUGE deal, I love the way the car drives and operates. Lots of fun. But man, certainly an unforeseen hassle/nuisance that my local Tesla Dealership can't take care of this for me...

I was born and raised in PA. Any new car that I've ever seen was delivered from the dealer with the inspection sticker already in place. Don't know how Tesla can get away with not having it's own mechanics certified to state inspect.

I worked at an MG dealer as a mechanic in the 1960's. Did state inspections daily, no issues. Of course laws may have changed since then, but that doesnt give Tesla a pass.

Shame on them for not providing a "clean" delivery.
