Brutal. Once enabled can the track package detect that you're running the correct tires and brakes with some kind of rotation sensing?
No. And do you want wheels that are 2" skinnier on the back of a plaid that has trouble sometimes sticking power to the ground as it is?Now that Tesla has a track package for the S and it comes with zero-G wheels, I'm curious if anyone knows whether the zero-G wheels from the 3 track package will fit. I have those sitting in my garage and don't want to sell them
Thanks. I have LR though that may not matterNo. And do you want wheels that are 2" skinnier on the back of a plaid that has trouble sometimes sticking power to the ground as it is?
if you have the refresh S, the wheels are the same size as the plaid. 9.5" wide fronts, 10.5" wide rears. zero-G M3 wheels are only 9" wide.Thanks. I have LR though that may not matter
Track mode isn't new. Track package is. Coming in June. It's hardware changes.Which tesla software version support this new track mode ?
It is significant software changes as well.Coming in June. It's hardware changes.
Does anyone know if you will be able to order the track package as part of the car from June or it will always be a separate package that will be sent to the SC and will be purchased separately ?
Thank you. That makes sense. It will likely always be a separate option for a service center to install. (It wouldn't make any sense to add it as a factory option given the likely extremely low take rate.)
The brakes are fine for normal driving. The problem is that you'll blink once and be in triple digits speeds and need to do urgent stops more than you think you will.Thank you. That makes sense.
Ok if that is the case are 2023 Model S brakes GOOD enough for everyday spirited driving? I will not be tracking.

So I saw one news outlet say that the top speed unlock would also come with just the wheels for $6k. Anyone else catch this and think it's legit, or just a misquote? Seems as though Tesla would insist people pony up for at least the $15k ccb's or $20k for the whole package.
No way. Why would 20 inch wheels unlock that, and you cant even buy them separately
