Did you read that backwards? I feel guilty now as I had just written Joe off an an overpaid idiot- maybe he is a little unwell. Or was there a comma missing?
rogan is definitely not a (very)"high functioning" male type of anything. So the "suggestion" was about Musk. "Mask is autistic" is one of the latest topics in smear campaign on social platform.
The previous topic was "he is too tired to act properly".

probably we can start bets and design a fortune wheel with the topics they like to choose.

It's most likely long position holders selling. The circuit breaker only affects those who are short TSLA, not those who are long.

BTW., the fact that the circuit breaker stopped the fall and there was a healthy rise afterwards is pretty conclusive proof IMO that the fall was artificially magnified by short sellers. Short position holders sold into the fall aggressively, hoping to break through key resistance levels and hoping to trigger a panic.

That's almost the definition of market manipulation...
@Fact Checking
is there some way for shorts to have some _long_ positions they can sell into a panic drop to accentuate it?
If they aren't "naked" could not they own shares and sell some of those
hedge funds of some kind or other
Would that accelerate the fall, some kind of leverage?

Most single episode likes in the history of Marques Brownlee’s show.

Most single episode likes in the history of Joe Rogan Experience Show.

Over the past three weeks, Elon has conducted two record breaking interviews on two of the most popular internet shows in the prime demographic.

Every single business and media outlet in existence would give almost anything for such access to such a demographic and achieve such an overwhelming positive response.

That is the heart of the issue though. Folks have figured out that Musk = clicks = $$$ so you'll continue to see editors churn out "Is Musk Crazy" headlines regardless of the authors intent and en masse it will continue to color perception of Tesla with buyers.

Clicks are one thing, likes are another.

Elon’s like numbers give a more defined feedback then just clicks.

Likes more probable of a positive response. A positive experience with the audience, which could translate into higher product sales.

Clicks may not translate into product sales as highly as likes would, therefore likes are a more desirable outcome of video content creation from an advertisers perspective.

To me, this like phenomena is why Tesla is literally production constrained on every product they produce from cars and storage to surfboards and phone chargers.

The brand is ultra strong right now, which shows the current ineffectiveness of corporate sponsored media conglomerations to generate anywhere near the demographic response Elon has done in just two internet interviews.

Thus, Elon doing Joe Rogan converts into sales far more likely then doing CNBC interviews... time is greater spent doing internet show interviews then legacy media.

You’re mixing up investors with buyers. As mentioned by @Foghat, look at the likes. Also, look at the comments. The reception among that demographic is overwhelmingly positive. Big institutional investors will clutch their pearls when they see a CEO take a puff of pot. The people who actually watch such shows won’t.

Musk is probably halfway between normal and asperger but that is something he shares with many intelligent people. Far from full Sheldon and definitely not autistic. There could be some adhd in there aswell but I don't know if labeling people is productive. Now I feel stupid. Sorry Elon
You would fit very wel in the Netherlands, lol.
Anyway a small reminder: all autism spectrum types share two essential traits: they avoid unnecessary social contacts and most importantly they are averse to change.
Even for Asperger social contacts are very expensive energetically and they need known environment to function properly.

Musk is so much "averse" to social life, that he has spent a hop of time to get far from painless hair implants and grew Laos Jungle on his head. I find remarkable how easily people follow suggested hints...
Check out his interviews from the "golden" 2010-2014 to get a glimpse of other Musk.

For those who studied(or were forced to study) Drucker remember the primary goal of a business:

Creating a customer.

Create that customer, sell goods and services.

Elon has done that at the highest probability with appearing on two of the hottest internet shows in the prime buying demographic and generating a record breaking positive audience response.

Elon's millennial appeasing behavoir is absolutely a gift for investers late to game. I read that article on Bloomberg claiming that August numbers prove that the July numbers was not a one time fluke. Lol not one person here thinks the demand for model 3 is dying or a one month fluke. The big institution's misunderstanding of Tesla demographic is the best present one can hope for.

Yeah, name a famous programmer (who in the high-tech era often became billionaires) and you'll quite often find an Aspie: Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Bill Gates, Steve Wozniak, Elon Musk - but we could also go back as far as Einstein or probably Darwin as well.

Not Rain Man kind of autistic, but a highly-functioning Aspie who is somewhat awkward in public settings, to whom hackathons are more relaxing than parties, and who prefers to work on problems in an a pretty obsessive, highly single-tasking fashion while forgetting everything else.

Tesla is getting desperate.. letting people drive off same day.

The bears will be feasting for days!!

Massive end of quarter sales event in Fremont. All cars must go go go! Drive one off today!

It’s great for analytics. I predict a few thousand red and blue vins will be registered and producing off of in next two weeks.
Actually longs should be happy about this event for several reasons.

1) While the first day was a little bumpy and they have run out of AWD and P models for today's portion, it brings the inventory issue out into the open. Yes, there are inventory units that buyers can snap up.
2) More importantly, it shows Tesla is taking additional steps to get cars delivered ASAP in Q3. The word seems to be this warehouse event will be repeated next weekend (hopefully with a little more notice to buyers). It stands to reason they are probably looking to duplicate the event in Southern California too. It sounds exactly like what they did in Toronto.

Bears and shorts will get no traction from this at all. That should put a smile on all your faces ;)

Here is the TMC thread for those interested: Model 3 Delivery Experience in Fremont
