So I've had our model 3 for about 13 months now and have just shy of 16000 miles. I was getting my kid out of the back and noticed the bottom part of the seats on both sides is sticking out a bit and not really attached on the bottom. I tried pushing it back in and nothing. Then I got into the front seat and noticed the passenger front trim piece is coming away from the wall of the car and creating a gap near the floor. I never noticed either of these issues until today. Anyone else have these and what did you do to fix them?

I have a June '18 build with 19k miles. I never noticed the seat back gaps in your pictures before. I just checked and mine look exactly the same. I tugged and prodded, but the hard plastic backs are well attached (although they move around slightly). I don't think there is anything wrong with yours or mine. The design could certainly be improved to better the alignment.

We have the same fit issues at the lower back of the front seats. Bought the car 6/30/19.

It is what it is, as far as I'm concerned. I knew going in that Tesla did not have the build quality, or fit and finish of other cars in the same price range.

Just wondering if you park it out in the heat? Vegas gets pretty hot, I’ve seen 106 - 111 degrees there.

I’ve never noticed, will go check now.

Just checked, all looks normal, nothing coming loose or apart, March 2019 build SR+

My 2018 LR AWD looks perfectly normal. I looked after seeing your post. No way should you be seeing interior seat parts like wiring on someone’s photo. Looking at OP’s photos though I wondered with all the scuffs on the plastic if maybe kids were pushing against the plastic with their feet and putting pressure on it. Only other thought I had was if the front seat/s get pushed back on the track and into something stored on the rear floor where it causes it to buckle a bit under the backward pressure.
