Two questions for two Model S's

2nd try: parked the car, powered off from the main screen, waited for about 2 hours. This time, the charge port didn't open with the charge cable, but I was able to open it manually by pushing the right side of the port. Plugged the charging cable and the light turned green. I can't really tell for sure whether the car was in sleep mode, but just because I couldn't open the charge port from the cable, so I assume it was. My guess is openning the charge port could trigger the car to wake up.

My S wakes up enough to start charging immediately. Didn't always do this after the second attempt by Tesla to get sleep working again, but that seems to have improved with the most recent software.
