I've got a pretty good mix of liberal and conservative folks in my life, so I feel I'm in a good position to add something to this topic. My experience from everyone who's seen my car is incredibly positive. And people wouldn't hesitate to complain if they wanted to. Everyone is in awe of the car and loves it.
Now, when you talk about the tax credit, that's a different story. Liberals all feel it's wonderful and should be increased and that everyone should get on solar, including all the utilities. Conservatives all seem to think that private corporations and the so-called free market is the best for everything, and so we should all become anarchists with no government except the military. I might be exaggerating a little
But they don't believe in climate change so they see no need for gov't intervention.
So for Tesla? Thumbs up. For the nice discount we get on our Teslas? It's split down party lines.
