Trafford centre pickup. Very laid back process and only found 2 small areas that needed cleaning on first inspection. It only had 36% charge but stopped at supercharger on the way back. Very relaxed drive using autopilot.

Got my white M3 LR delivered yesterday. The so-called "tracking text" arrived over four hours after the driver had dropped it off with me! Fortunately he called when he was about 20 mins away.
I did a thorough check using a check list and am very happy that all is as it should be (thank goodness!) checked all the internal lights etc as darkness fell. It looks good and all is spotless, paint is good and panels well aligned etc and I am happy.
It arrived with 40% charge. Popped across to the nearby ChargePoint Scotland 22kw charger 300m away and gave it a try for a few minutes. Then moved to their CCS charger four miles away and gave it half an hour there whilst I read up on things and fiddled with the settings, both are free to use. It was then reading 75% when I got home and parked up. Lost 1% in vampire drain overnight, as expected. Didn't want to seem an absolute muppet when I first go out in public so I thought a bit of quiet practice with the cables when nobody was about would help
The Tesla app came live 25 hours after delivery and I have now paired my phone to the car. Received a phone call which was echoing a few minutes ago don't know which end of the call that problem is yet, have not yet checked the call and receive functions for quality and will do that later today. Have just done enough miles for the calibration to kick in about a mile ago so not yet tried the assist functions.
Software 2021.3.107 is the installed version as mentioned above, no doubt what it was shipped with. Have now paired with home wifi and will await an update at some point.
Check the glove box. Should be plugged in on the left hand side. If it isn’t, contact Tesla, it should come with the car.My pick up time was set for 11:30am tomorrow but me and the mrs decided to go to the Trafford Centre anyway as she wanted a few new bits and we live nearby.
I suggested we have a walk around the Teslas to see if we could find ours…and there she was! Found it really quickly and asked if we could have it today. Anyway, 1.5 hours later after a quick walk around the traff and phone call to the insurers the car was signed over.
Couldn’t see any issues at all! Charge was lower than id hoped at only 36% but not a big issue. Didn’t get a USB storage device either. Should I?

So took my car back to Tesla Glasgow today.
They couldn’t find a fault with it even after driving.
I’m not even going to sit here and say it’s fine because it’s not.
Tried phoning kwik fit for Hunter alignment but they don’t touch electric cars or cars with radars??
I’m at a loss now
Congratulations! Did you check the car over while the delivery guy was still there?Got my white M3 LR delivered yesterday. The so-called "tracking text" arrived over four hours after the driver had dropped it off with me! Fortunately he called when he was about 20 mins away.

That's rubbish! Definitely kick up a fuss and escalate the issue. The car is not up to standard.. Maybe try to get advise from motors ombudsman on what the best recourse if they refuse to fix the issue... It is Tesla.. but it isn't above the law!So took my car back to Tesla Glasgow today.

No, he checked my ID and I signed for it. He took a photo of me and ID and the car and was on his way. That was as I expected.Congratulations! Did you check the car over while the delivery guy was still there?

Glad you said that Ultimately, they're just a delivery driver so I'll be doing the same on weds! No, he checked my ID and I signed for it. He took a photo of me and ID and the car and was on his way. That was as I expected.
I took about an hour going through my list and crawling all over it!

I would have also thought that if an independent EV service technician was able to find the problem then he could pass on the bill to Tesla...
I think that is probably also why the app took so long to kick in. Those collecting at a Tesla centre are being signed on by the Tesla staff, so they seem to mark it live fairly swiftly. There were clearly timings issues with getting mine to me. The delivery driver offered to show me the keys etc but I informed him I knew how it worked. He warned me of the speedy acceleration too!Glad you said that Ultimately, they're just a delivery driver so I'll be doing the same on weds!
Video of my steering issues - hope this is clear for everyone to see
That’s bad. We use Kwik fit as a service provider at work (I work for a large vehicle mobility company), and they specifically tell us they are fully trained and capable to work on electric vehicles and those using ADAS systems. So took my car back to Tesla Glasgow today.
