Thought it would be worth a fresh thread about the Cybertruck, I feel with everything going on it's not had the attention it deserves. But super excited to see and learn more as and when more information comes out. Especially now we've seen signs of coming out of the factories in China.

So why did they open preorders in Europe? Where’s it stated it’s not coming to Europe?

They opened pre orders before they realised it wasn't coming to the Europe

It's similar to "why did they take orders for the MS and MX in Australia when they can't sell them there at all" (which is slightly worse than why they took them in the UK when they can't sell a RHD car, or why they take money for FSD and have not delivered anything of note, and have done since 2016, it will soon be 7 years since they started doing that one.

What signs are you referring to in China? All of the Cybertruck activity has been centered around Giga Texas.

It’s not that much smaller. I believe they said they reduced it to be able to park inside a standard US-size garage.
